Its the end of my two-venue gauntlet run of wing glory in Buffalo - Anchor Bar and Duff's is done. But you know what they say - when in Buffalo, eat Buffalo Wings! Gabriel's Gate popped up in my searches and so off I go!

The Scores
- The Specs: Flats and drums... that's not a wing, I don't care how traditional it is! RATING: 5.
- The Sauce: Saturated in delicious, probably Frank's based, buffalo sauce. Super delicious and perfectly made. RATING: 8
- Crunch: Crispy and crunchy as hell. Yet still meaty, juicy, and delightful RATING: 8
- Serving size & price/Value for Money: USD$17.99 for 10 drums/flats. That's about AUD$2.80 per wing. That continues to be about the global average for a chicken wing. How about that. RATING: 6
- Heat/spice level: A perfect heat build through the 10 wings and, so good was it, if I hadn't eaten 10 wings at Duff's a mere hours earlier - there would have absolutely been a second round at Gabriel's Gate! RATING: 9
- Flavour: So. F***ing tasty. RATING 10
- Celery: Was there Celery sticks? Yes! And Carrot... RATING: 4.
- Dipping Sauce: Blue cheese! Best blue cheese in Buffalo! There's chunks! Perhaps a squeeze of lemon too. Perfect creamy sauce. RATING: 5
- Other Stuff: Gabriel's Gate is a little off the 'beaten track' in Buffalo. ut, to be fair, Buffalo is not huge and 'off the beaten track' is a mere 10-15 minute walk from the centre of town. Service was friendly and lowkey, I got to sit at the bar, nobody eye-balled me upon entry, and they had a West Cast IPA on tap, from Big Ditch brewing - and as we know, IPA is a hot wing' best friend! RATING 7.
OVERALL RATING 62/80. No Moist Towelette... but check out that sauce drip on my meaty paw below! That's a MASSIVE thumbs up for Gabriel's Gate!
I was genuinely excited to add the scores up here. Gabriel's Gate's wings were seriously good. I'm pining for them now, as I write this. Consider this - even though no moist towelette was supplied, and thus no bonus pints, this wing haven is still sitting second on the table, just one point behind the moistly towelled Duff's! A stunning score.
