The Scores

• The Specs: Flats and drums but noticeably larger than most. I'm still not happy... but big is, occasionally, better. RATING: 5.
• The Sauce: Absolutely lashed with sauce. Probably Frank's Red Hot though I did notice a distinct fruity sweetness. If it's the taboo honey addition, I give credit. The Duff's sauce is delicious! RATING: 8 
• Crunch: Seasoned, crispy, and most certainly not dry. Tender moist meat under a deep fried, seasoned outer. Ominously good.  RATING: 8
• Serving size & price/Value for Money: USD$16.99 for 10 sizeable drums/flats. That's about AUD$2.70 per wing. And whilst that's about average, I'll give an extra point for the size of these things. RATING: 6
• Heat/spice level: Duff's has given their wings some thought, and they know what they're doing. Definite heat from the sauce and it grows as you eat on. If I was so inclined I would have ordered a second helping and by the end of 20 wings... my tastebuds would have been zinging nicely. Very good. RATING: 7
• Flavour: One word. Delicious. RATING 9
• Celery: Was there Celery sticks? Yes! And Carrot...  RATING: 4.
• Dipping Sauce: Blue cheese! Quite tangy, perhaps cut with more Mayo then anything else. Chunks. In that weird little take-away container... RATING: 4. 
• Other Stuff: There are several Duff's locations across NY, and one in Texas, I can't speak to those... but the Amherst venue is great. Friendly, attentive staff, easy, comfortable atmosphere, and a wonderful Duff's Wingman IPA that knowingly matches the wing heat beautifully. RATING 7.

OVERALL RATING 63/80. Moist Towelette! Its perhaps controversial to award 5 points for merely a moist towelette... but the rare appearance of such makes it absolutely apt. 

On the back of that towelette, Duff's scores a MASSIVE 63 points, clearly top of the table and probably unlikely to ever be toppled. Or... is there a whiff of an upset? There's still time for another venue in my time in Buffalo... what will happen there...?
